A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Steve was born in Illinois and lived in a rural smalltown that instilled the belief of “helping your neighbors.” When he was a teenager, his family relocated to Arizona, and he has continues to live there through today. Throughout his life, Steve has always been an advocate for those less fortunate and learned the importance of helping his community by volunteering and serving others.
As an advocate for those that served in our country’s military, Steve was the founder of the Arizona branch of House of Heroes. He played an important role in recruiting volunteers, raising funds, and locating donations in helping veterans. During his tenure, Steve helped numerous veterans with needed repairs to their homes.
Steve also has a passion for helping youth. In the past, he became a Big Brother with Arizona Big Brothers, Big Sisters to a young child lacking a positive male role model. He spent several years mentoring his “Little Brother” and giving him opportunities to learn and grow. Steve’s Little Brother has grown into a hardworking young man.
As a board member with Broker’s Care, Steve is grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve his community and be a voice for those who may not have one.
